Comfy Shoes for Work and Weekend: Ciera Dusk by Clarks Artisan

As promised, I’m sharing with you another awesome pair of shoes. I love these because they look fantastic dressed up at work as well as with jeans and a tee on the weekend. Who doesn’t love a comfy and versatile shoe? This little beauty is the Ciera Dusk in Grey Leather. The color is grey/brown, and I can’t quite decide if it looks more grey or more brown, which is a plus because it goes with both! This pair is from the Clarks Artisan collection and is leather inside and out and has a 3″ heel. It has a rubber

Quick Tip for Small Spaces – Purse Hook Works Just as Well at Home

We all have at least one purse hook for hanging our handbag when we’re out and about, but have you thought about using it at home? I live in a small space, and there truly is no place for my purse. The entry closet is spoken for, the pantry only provides shelves for food items, and if I keep it in the bedroom, I risk rushing out without it. So I took my prettiest purse hook and placed it at the end of my dining table/desk and that is where my purse resides. As long as your bag isn’t overloaded,

One Room at a Time – Bedroom

You all got a sneak peek of the boudoir when I checked in about the rug, but there is so much more to see! My room was cute but a little frumpy. Missing something for sure. Part of that something was a bed. I had a bed frame, but no head board/foot board action going on. So this summer I purchased my very first brand new bed. Can you believe it? How to Avoid Extra Nail Holes

Who doesn’t want fewer nail holes in their walls? I’m double excited about this because it was an original thought of my very own. Giddiness abounds! I’ve been working like mad to finish the master bedroom, and the final task was to hang three framed photos of me and Grace. I’m bright enough to learn from past mistakes, so to just throw them up on the wall willy-nilly was not an option. Grace absolutely refused to hold them up for me to eyeball, so I came up with this little ditty. I had three framed photographs to hang I taped

Pick Your ‘Maters Green!

Someone recently told me that picking your tomatoes green is just as well as letting them ripen on the vine. I smiled, politely said “oh wow,” and filed the idea in the Not Likely mental folder. Fast-forward about a week, a week of not watering my tomato plant, and though the plant was dead, it was also covered in little green cherry tomatoes. I thought what the heck, and I picked every one of those greenies, rinsed them and left them in a colander at room temp. Here’s what happened. Day 1 (day after I picked them and already turning)
